(EEUR) Cash accounts (form) [AX 2012]

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2

Click Cash and bank management > Common > Cash accounts. Double–click a cash account or, on the Action Pane, in the New group, click Cash account to create a cash account.

Use this form to create or modify a cash account for a legal entity.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

General

Select the numbering sequence for ledger documents and vouchers in the cash account.

Validation

Set up currency parameters, and specify whether the cash balance in the account can be less than 0 (zero).

Delete the cash account.

Cash account

Create a cash account.

Cash balance

Open the Cash balance form, where you can view the balance of the cash account on a specified date.

Cash transactions

Open the Cash transaction form, where you can view the cash transactions that were posted for the cash account.

Created cash reports

Open the Cash reports form, where you can view the cash reports that have been created.

Create cash report

Create a cash report.

Balance limit

Open the Balance limit form, where you can set up the minimum and maximum limits for the cash account.

Check balance limit

View the minimum and maximum cash balances on a specified date after the cash validation functionality was enabled.

Attachments

Attach an external document, such as an invoice, to the cash account.

Field

Description

Cash

The identifier of the cash account.

Name

The description of the cash account.

Number sequence group

The number sequence group for the cash documents in the cash account.

Currency

The default currency code for the cash vouchers.

More currencies

If this check box is selected, you can post cash vouchers in currencies other than the currency that is selected in the Currency field.

Negative cash

If this check box is selected, a negative balance is allowed in any currency.
