(EEUR) Set up value models

Use the Value models form to set up value models for fixed assets.

  1. Click Fixed assets > Setup > Value models.

  2. Create a value model, and then in the Value model and Description fields, enter a name and a description for the value model.

  3. In the Round off depreciation field, enter a round-off depreciation value.

  4. In the Rounding method field, select a rounding method that is used to round the depreciation amount from the following options:

    • Normal – Round the amount to the nearest unit that is specified in the Round off depreciation field.

    • Downward – Round the amount down to the nearest unit that is specified in the Round off depreciation field.

    • Rounding-up – Round the amount up to the nearest unit that is specified in the Round off depreciation field.

  5. Click the Derived value models FastTab, and then in the Value model field, select a value model.

  6. Click the Derived depreciation books FastTab, and then in the Depreciation book field, select a depreciation book.
