(IND) Activate service tax parameters

Click General ledger > Setup > General ledger parameters.
Click Sales tax.
In the Apply India taxes field group, select the Service tax check box to enable service tax.
Select the Tax recoverable on full payment check box to transfer the service tax on the invoice payments from the interim service tax recoverable accounts to the service tax recoverable accounts. This transfer occurs only on the full settlement of an invoice value. For partial invoice payments, the service tax is not transferred to the service tax recoverable accounts.
Note
This option is available for new journal lines only. It is not available for existing open journal lines.
