Updated: November 9, 2012

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2

Use the Customers form to set up a customer as a foreign counteragent, so that the customer can receive items that must be exported. The customer must be set up as a foreign counteragent before you can create a customs journal for the export operation.

  1. Click Accounts receivable > Common > Customers > All customers.

  2. On the Action Pane, in the New action group, click Customer to create a customer account, or double-click an existing customer account.

  3. On the General FastTab, select the Foreign counteragent check box to indicate that the customer is a foreign counteragent.
