(RUS) Post taxes in a general journal for vendors

  1. Click General ledger > Journals > General journal.

  2. Select a journal and then press CTRL +N to create a new line, and enter the required details.

  3. In the Date field, select the voucher posting date.

  4. In the Account type field, select Vendor.

  5. In the Account field, select the vendor account number.

  6. In the Credit field, enter the credit amount, including taxes.

  7. Click the General tab. In the Sales tax group field, select the sales tax group to determine the tax.

  8. In the Item sales tax group field, select the item sales tax group to determine the tax.

  9. Click the Invoice tab. In the Posting profile field, select a posting profile code to assign the vendor debt to the correct ledger account.

  10. In the Invoice field, enter the invoice number.

  11. Click Sales tax to view the calculated sales tax for each line.

  12. Click Post > Post to post the journal.

    Note

    To view the ledger calculations created for the journal, in the Journal voucher form, click Inquiries > Voucher.
