Health rolls up from the SMASH device to the Windows computer it has been associated to.

The SMASH Device is discovered through a ping using the WinRM command. If the registeredName of an item node equals ‘Base Server’, it is identified as a SMASH device, the Service Tag property is discovered and the return value for ServiceTag is checked.

A relationship is setup between the in-band monitored Windows Computer and the discovered SMASH Device when the co-responding Windows Computer is managed by the same management group. The two objects are linked through the SMBIOS ID: a GUID. On the Windows computer, the property is called UUID. When the SMBIOS ID matches the UUID of the Windows Computer, the two devices are associated.
