Color group lines (form)
Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2
Click Retail > Setup > Variant groups > Color groups. Click Colors.
Use this form to set up colors for a color group. You can select from existing colors or create new ones. For example, you could set up a range of colors, such as Blue, Black, Gray, and White, for a color group called Jeans.

Automatically enter sequential numbers in the Number in bar code field. |

Color |
Enter a unique identifier for the color. |
Color name |
Enter an optional name for the color. |
Replenishment weight |
Enter a replenishment weight for the color. For example, a higher number relative to the other colors indicates a proportionately larger replenishment quantity. |
Number in bar code |
Enter a number to indicate the color in bar codes. |
Display order |
Enter a number for each color to display the colors in an order other than alphabetical order in lists. For example, to display the colors Blue, Black, White, and Gray in that order, enter 1 for blue, 2 for black, 3 for white, and 4 for gray. |
