(LVA) Tax on natural resources (form) [AX 2012]

Click General ledger > Periodic > Tax on natural resources.

Use this form to view or generate the information to report for taxes on natural resources and packing materials.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

View or modify the information about taxes on natural resources and packing materials that is displayed on the Overview tab.

Create

Open the Tax on packing materials or Tax on dangerous items form, where you can transfer the information that is required to generate the following reports:

  • Tax on packing materials – Transfer the information that is required to generate the report for tax on packing materials. The report includes information about package goods that were sold in the reporting period.

  • Tax on dangerous items – Transfer the information that is required to generate the report for tax on dangerous materials. The report includes information about environmentally hazardous materials that the legal entity used or sold during the reporting period.

Data validation

Validate the data that is included on the report.

Field

Description

Voucher

The voucher number in the general ledger.

Date

The date of the transaction.

Invoice

The identifier for the invoice.

Transaction type

The type of natural resources tax transaction. The options are Tax on dangerous items and Tax on packing materials.

Natural resource tax group

The tax group that is used for natural resources.

Sales tax group

The sales tax group that determines the sales tax calculation for sales and purchases.

Sales tax code

The sales tax code that identifies the sales tax that your legal entity is obligated to pay.

Tax base amount

The original amount that the sales tax is calculated on.

Tax amount

The calculated sales tax amount.

Item number

The item that tax is calculated for.

Quantity

The quantity of the item.

BOM line

If this check box is selected, the transaction is for an item on a bill of materials (BOM) line.

Reference

The origin of the transaction.

Number

The identifier for the record where the transaction originated. For example, this number can be an order number, project number, or production number.

Dimension No.

The identifier for the dimension that is related to the item.

Packing material code

The identifier for the packing material that tax is reported for.

Packing weight

The total weight of the packing material.

Packing unit weight

The weight of one unit of the packing material.

Packing unit

The packing unit. For more information, see Packing units (form).

Reference table ID

The table in Microsoft Dynamics AX that the transaction refers to.

Reference

The field in the reference table.
