(LVA) Natural resources tax report setup (form)
Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2
Click General ledger > Setup > Sales tax > Natural resources tax report setup.
Use this form to set up the reports that Latvian organizations can use to report taxes on natural resources and packing materials. Microsoft Dynamics AX supports Form 2 and Form 3 tax statements.
You can set up the structure of each form by creating a sequence of lines that contain the tax values to report. Setting up the report is similar to creating rows for a table in a document. When you generate the report, each row is displayed as a line, according to the sequence number that you specify for the line.
Example of a setup for Form 3
The following table shows an example of the fields and values in a report setup for Form 3. For more information about each field, see the “Fields” table in this topic.
The report in this example is set up to display the following:
A heading that introduces the content of the report
Lines that display the descriptions and individual values to report
The total amounts for the line values

Form number |
The form that is used to report tax on natural resources. The following forms are supported by Microsoft Dynamics AX:

Sequence number |
The number that specifies the position of the line in the sequence of lines on the report. |
Line type |
The type of the line on the report. The options are as follows:

Line code |
The identifier for the natural resources tax report line. |
Description |
The description of the transaction. |
Total line code |
The identifier for the line that contains the total tax amount for a group of lines. |
Warehouse |
The identifier for the warehouse that is billed for the natural resource or packing materials. This field is available only if you select Line in the Line type field. |
Sales tax code |
The sales tax code that is used to calculate tax on natural resources. If you select a sales tax code, the Packing material code field is not available. |
Packing material code |
The identifier for the packing material to calculate tax on natural resources for. If you select a packing material code, the Sales tax code field is not available. |
