Click Fixed assets (Russia) > Setup > Location.

Use this form to create the fixed asset account locations. Locations are defined for fixed assets to assist in counting and depreciation accrual. Depending on the fixed asset locations, the calculated depreciation amount is allocated either to the production cost of the product or to a ledger account.

Note

The location is defined before the asset is acquired.

Fixed asset posting profiles

Set up posting profiles to which the fixed asset depreciation is accrued, depending on the fixed asset location.

Location

Enter an identification code for the fixed asset location.

Name

Enter a description for the fixed asset location.

Separate division ID

Select a separate division identification code for a fixed asset location.

Note

If a separate division is not specified, the location of the fixed asset is the head office. A fixed asset location can only be associated with one separate division.

Independent

A selected check box indicates that the selected division can report tax declarations independently of the head office.

Groupings

Select the grouping for the fixed asset posting profile from one of the following options:

  • Table – The posting profile is grouped by the selected fixed asset identifier.

  • Group – The posting profile is grouped by the depreciation group.

  • All – The posting profile is grouped by all fixed assets.

  • Accounting – The posting profile is grouped by the value model.

Account/Group number

Select a value model, a depreciation group, or a fixed asset that the posting profile is used for.

Main account

Select the ledger account number for posting the fixed asset transaction.

Account for depr.bonus

Select the ledger account number for posting the depreciation bonus, if appropriate.
