Configure globally unique staff identifiers (form)
Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2
Use this form to configure globally unique staff identifiers in a Retail installation of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack or Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2. Staff identifiers are shared globally across companies. Therefore, when you upgrade an installation of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 for Retail that has multiple companies, you must assign a globally unique identifier to each staff member.
Additionally, because Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 supports data partitioning, globally shared staff identifiers can apply only to companies that are contained in a single data partition. If you have multiple partitions that contain multiple companies, you must configure staff identifiers separately on each partition.
