Configure globally unique store identifiers (form)
Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2
Use this form to configure globally unique store identifiers in a Retail installation of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack or Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2. Store identifiers are shared globally across companies. Therefore, when you upgrade an installation of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 for Retail that has multiple companies, you must assign a globally unique identifier to each store.
Additionally, because Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 supports data partitioning, globally shared store identifiers can apply only to companies that are contained in a single data partition. If you have multiple partitions that contain multiple companies, you must configure store identifiers separately on each partition.
