(LTU) Amount spent for repair (form) [AX 2012]

Updated: November 20, 2012

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2

Click Fixed assets > Common > Fixed assets > Fixed assets. Select the asset that was repaired, and then, on the Action Pane, in the Books group, click Value models. In the Value models form, click Repair fixed assets, and then, in the Repair form, click Totals.

When the repair cost for a fixed asset exceeds 50 percent of the acquisition value for the asset, the net balance value of the asset increases by the repair amount. Repair information must be recorded for all fixed assets. You can generate and print a report about the amounts that have been spent to repair fixed assets.

Use this form to view the amount that your organization spent to repair a fixed asset. You can also view the percentage of the acquisition value that was spent on asset repair.

You can view the amount that was spent on the repair of an asset during specific time intervals by doing the following:

  • Fiscal year – Select a date that falls within the year.

  • Date range – Select the starting date and ending date.

The following table provides descriptions for the controls in this form.
