(BRA) Definition group wizard (form)

Click Organization administration > Periodic > Configurator > Configurator definition groups. Select or create a configurator definition group, and then click Definition wizard.

Use this wizard to create configurator definition groups. You can assign a configurator definition group to a configurator layout group. You can then assign the configurator layout group as an export or return layout group to a fiscal document type in the Export file layout group or Return file layout group field in the Fiscal document types form. You can also assign the configurator layout group as an export or return layout group to a customer or vendor method of payment in the Export layout group or Return layout group field in the Methods of payment - customers or Methods of payment - vendors form.

Note

This form is available only if the Is Query Based check box is not selected in the Configurator definition groups form.

Tables

View the tables that are available in Microsoft Dynamics AX. You can select the tables that the configurator definition group fields are created from.

Fields

View the fields that are available for the tables that are selected in the Selected tables list on the Tables page. You can select the fields for the configurator definition group.

Summation

Specify the summation criteria for the fields that are selected in the Selected fields list on the Fields page.

Note

This page is available only if you select a field that has a numeric data type on the Fields page.

Sorting

Specify the sorting criteria for the fields that are selected in the Selected fields list on the Fields page.

Ranges

Select the fields for the range criteria to select the output data.

Save definition group

Save the definition group that is created by the wizard.

Show system names of tables, fields, and methods

Select this check box to view system names for tables, fields, and methods.

All tables

The tables that are available in Microsoft Dynamics AX. Select the tables from which the configurator definition group fields are created, and move these tables to the Selected tables list.

The tables selected in the All tables list.

Tables that are related to the selected tables

The tables that are related to the tables that are selected in the Selected tables list. Select the tables from which the configurator definition group fields are created, and move these tables to the Selected tables list.

The fields that are available for the tables that are selected in the Selected tables list on the Tables page. Select the fields for the configurator definition group, and move the fields to the Selected fields list.

Of the fields that are selected in the Selected fields list on the Fields page, the fields that have a numeric data type. Select the fields for summation, and move them to the Selected fields list.

  • Average – The summation is based on the average of the values in the selected field.

  • Count – The summation is based on the count of the number of transactions in the selected field.

  • Total – The summation is based on the sum of the values in the selected field.
