(LVA) Tax depreciation details (form)
Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2
Click Fixed assets > Periodic > Tax depreciation. Enter or select a value model that is listed in the Category field. Click Tax depreciation details to open the Tax depreciation details form.
Use this form to view the details of the tax depreciation calculation for fixed assets. The depreciation for individual fixed assets per category, or depreciation that is summarized per category, is displayed. If the Summarize for category check box on the Value models form is selected, tax depreciation is calculated and displayed per tax category (value model).

The number of the fixed asset. |
Name |
The name of the fixed asset. |
Coefficient |
The coefficient that is used to adjust the fixed asset. |
Start balance |
The net book value at the end of the previous taxation period of the fixed asset |
Acquisition |
The acquisition value of the fixed asset. |
Write up adjustment |
The write up adjustments that have been posted to this fixed asset. |
Write down adjustment |
The write down adjustments that have been posted to this fixed asset. |
Total adjustments |
Acquisition adjustments that have been posted to this fixed asset. |
Disposal amount |
The disposal amount of the fixed asset in the tax period. |
Adjusted value |
The book value of the fixed asset at the start of the tax period. This is value is used to calculate depreciation for the tax period. |
Percentage |
The depreciation percentage that is entered in the Percentage field on the Depreciation profiles form. The depreciation profile is assigned to the category through the Depreciation profile field on the Value models form. Note Value models are referred to as categories. |
Depreciation |
The total depreciation for this fixed asset for the tax period. |
End balance |
The net book value of the fixed asset at the end of the tax period. |
