(BRA) Post debit note proposal (form) [AX 2012]

Click Project management and accounting > Common > Project debit notes > Project debit note proposals. Select a debit note proposal, and then click Post.

Use this form to post a debit note proposal.

Open the Inquiry form, where you can select the debit note proposals to include for posting.

Printer setup

Select the printer setup for the debit note proposal.

Open the Posted sales tax form, where you can view the calculated amount of sales tax for the selected debit note proposal.

Posting

Select this check box to post the debit note proposal. If you clear the check box, a pro forma debit note is created, and no transactions are posted.

Print

Select whether to print the debit note proposal in its current state or after it is posted.

Use print management destination

Select this check box to use the printer setup that is defined for Project management and accounting, the customer profile, or the project contract.

Check credit limit

Select the kind of credit limit check that is run for a customer when you post the debit note proposal. This check applies only if sales order transactions or item requirement transactions are attached. You can select from the following options:

  • None – No credit limit check is run.

  • Balance – A credit limit check is run for the current balance of the customer.

  • Balance + packing slip or product receipt – A credit limit check is run for the current balance of the customer and the value of any orders that a packing slip is updated for.

  • Balance+All – A credit limit check is run for the current balance of the customer and all open orders for the project.

Credit correction

Select this check box if you want the credit check calculation to reflect the value of any credits or debits on the customer account.

Debit note proposal

The debit note proposal number.

Invoice account

The customer or vendor account number.

Invoice date

The invoice date.

Name

The customer or vendor name.

Narration

Enter comments about the debit note proposal.

Project contract ID

The project contract that is associated with the debit note proposal.
