ModelDeployer.DeployNew Method (Package, String, Identifier)

Creates a new model from the supplied deployment package, with new identifiers and a new name.

Parameters

• package
  Type: Microsoft.MasterDataServices.Deployment.Package

  The Package object to deploy.

• modelName
  Type: System.String

  The name of the new model.

• newModelId
  Type: Microsoft.MasterDataServices.Services.DataContracts.Identifier

  The identifier of the newly created model.

Return Value

Type: Microsoft.MasterDataServices.Deployment.Warnings

An instance of Warnings that contains the collections of objects to be treated as warnings.

Remarks

DeployNew throws ArgumentNullException if the package or modelName parameter is null.

DeployNew throws DeploymentException if an error occurred that was not service-related.

DeployNew throws DeploymentOperationException if errors were returned from a service call while rolling back after a failure.

DeployNew throws ServiceAdapterException if errors were returned from a service call.
