Parameters

hRow: Int32

The handle of the row.

hCol: Int32

The handle of the column.

DTP_VARIANT

This feature will be removed in a future version of Microsoft SQL Server. Avoid using this feature in new development work, and plan to modify applications that currently use this feature.The DTP_VARIANT that contains the data in the column.

Remarks

This method returns a pointer to the data stored in the column specified by the hCol parameter. This pointer is used to directly modify the data in the column specified by hCol instead of calling the GetData method, modifying the data, and then calling SetData.
