AlertType Enumeration

The AlertType enumeration contains values that are used to specify the type of event or performance condition that causes alerts to be raised.

Member nameDescription
NonSqlServerEventSpecifies a system event.
SqlServerEventSpecifies an event such as an error or a message that is generated by the instance of SQL Server.
SqlServerPerformanceConditionSpecifies a condition applied to a specified SQL Server performance counter. For example, the number of connections is greater than 10.
WmiEventSpecifies an event that is raised by the Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) Provider interface.

The AlertType enumeration class is served by the AlertType property.
