RepairOptions Enumeration

The RepairOptions enumeration contains values that are used to specify the repair options that are used when checking data in a table.

This enumeration has a FlagsAttribute attribute that allows a bitwise combination of its member values.

Member nameDescription
AllErrorMessagesDisplays all reported errors per object. If it is not specified, 200 error messages are displayed for each object. The maximum is 1000.
EstimateOnlyRequests the estimated amount of tempdb space that is required to run the CheckTables method. The actual database check is not performed.
ExtendedLogicalChecksStarting with SQL Server 2008, performs logical consistency checks on an indexed view, XML indexes, and spatial indexes. 
NoInformationMessagesSpecifies that no information messages will be displayed during the repair operation.
NoneNo repair options specified.
TableLockLimits the checks that are performed. The database catalogs are not checked for consistency, and Service Broker data is not validated.
