ServiceStartMode Enumeration

The ServiceStartMode enumeration contains values that are used to specify the method used to start the SQL Server service.

Members

Member name Description
Auto The SQL Server service is started automatically.
Boot The SQL Server service is started when the system is started.
Disabled The SQL Server service is disabled and cannot be started.
Manual The SQL Server service is started manually.
System The SQL Server service is started by the system.

Remarks

The ServiceStartMode enumerated class is served by the ServiceStartMode property.

This namespace, class, or member is supported only in version 2.0 of the Microsoft .NET Framework.
