Learn more about the hybrid deployment outbound connector

Applies to: Exchange Online, Exchange Server, Exchange Server 2013

Important

This feature of Exchange Server 2013 isn’t fully compatible with Office 365 operated by 21Vianet in China and some feature limitations may apply. For more information, see Learn about Office 365 operated by 21Vianet.

On the Outbound connector page, enter the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of your on-premises Client Access servers.

This will configure the outbound connector in the Microsoft Exchange Online Protection service for your Office 365 tenant organization to authenticate and encrypt secure mail sent from your Exchange Online organization to your Microsoft Exchange on-premises organization.
