Exchange 2016 Setup - Setup Progress

On the Setup Progress page, Setup shows the progress of the installation or removal of Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 on this computer.

If you're installing Exchange, the following happens:

  • If you didn't prepare the Active Directory schema before running the Setup wizard, Setup prepares the schema and domain for Exchange. For more information about Active Directory preparation, see Prepare Active Directory and domains.

  • Setup copies files, installs services, and configures the computer so that Exchange can run.

If you're uninstalling Exchange, Setup removes services and files that are no longer required.
