Status Property (TargetServer)

This feature will be removed in a future version of Microsoft SQL Server. Avoid using this feature in new development work, and plan to modify applications that currently use this feature.

The Status property returns component execution or integrity state information.

The Status property is returned as a bit-packed long. One or more of the following values can be returned.

An instance of Microsoft SQL Server is visible. SQL Server Agent is blocked.

An instance of SQL Server is visible. SQL Server Agent is known to be running.

SQLDMOTargetServerStatus_/SuspectedOffline

An instance of SQL Server is visible. The execution state of SQL Server Agent cannot be determined.

SQLDMOTargetServerStatus_/Unknown

0

A network error is preventing determination of the state of the referenced server and SQL Server Agent.
