In Microsoft SQL Server, Online Transaction Processing (OLTP), Online Analytical Processing (OLAP), and data warehouse sample databases are provided. These databases are used in samples and in code examples included in SQL Server Books Online. Sample databases used in earlier versions of SQL Server are available for download.
