LogicalName Element for FileSpec (ADF)

Specifies the logical name of an application database data file.

Syntax

<Database>
    <NamedFileGroup>
        ...
        <FileSpec>
            <LogicalName>

Characteristic Description

Data type

string, between 1 and 260 characters in length.

Default value

None.

Occurrence

Required once per FileSpec element.

Updates

Cannot be added, deleted, or modified when updating the application.

Remarks

You must specify the logical name of the application database data file in the LogicalName element. The logical name is used to refer to the file when managing the data file.
