Restoring the Default SQL Server Management Studio Configuration
Users new to SQL Server Management Studio might have inadvertently closed or hidden windows and might have trouble restoring Management Studio to the original layout. The following steps restore Management Studio to the default environment layout.
Restoring Components
To restore the components
- To restore windows to their original locations, on the Window menu, click Reset Window Layout.
Restoring the Tabbed Document Window
To restore the tabbed document window
On the Tools menu, click Options.
Expand Environment, and then click General.
In the Settings area, click Tabbed documents.
Under Environment, click Keyboard.
In the Keyboard scheme box, click Standard, and then click OK.
