Select Time Periods (Cube Wizard)
Use the Define Time Periods page to define attributes representing time periods in the time dimension with columns in the time dimension table identified on the Identify Fact and Dimension Tables page.
Note
This page will appear only if you have selected Build the cube using a data source on the Select Build Method page and you selected a table from the Time dimension table drop-down menu on the Identify Fact and Dimension Tables page.
Options
Time Property Name
Displays the attribute types that are used to indicate time periods within time dimensions. For more information about attribute types, see Type Element (DimensionAttribute) (ASSL).Note
The Date attribute type should be used only for columns with a DATETIME data type.
- Time Table Columns
Select the column on which an attribute with the corresponding attribute type in the time dimension will be based.
