Parameters

lOutputID: Int32

The ID of the IDTSOutputColumn100 object.

lOutputColumnID: Int32

The ID of the IDTSOutputColumn100 object.

eDataType: DataType

The DataType to assign to the column.

lLength: Int32

The length of the column.

lPrecision: Int32

The total number of digits in the column.

lScale: Int32

The number of decimal places (digits to the right of the decimal point) allowed in the column.

lCodePage: Int32

The character set of the output column.

Remarks

The data type properties of an output column are dependent on each other and require that specific rules be followed based on the DataType of the column. This method enables a component to enforce these rules by setting all of the properties at once.
