Report Subscription Properties (General Page)

Use this page to view or modify subscription settings. The options on this page vary depending on the delivery extension and your role assignment. For example, if you choose the report server e-mail delivery extension, you can set additional options that control how a report or message is sent to your mailbox. Users who have advanced permissions can access additional options that are not otherwise available.

Options

  • Status
Indicates whether the subscription is new. For existing subscriptions, this field indicates when the subscription was last processed. For more information about other status codes, see Monitoring Subscription Status.
  • Owner
Specifies the name of the user who created the subscription.
  • Notify By
Specifies the delivery extension to use to distribute the report. Selecting a delivery extension causes other settings to appear. The settings vary depending on the delivery extension you choose.

Choose Report Server E-mail to set delivery options for To, Subject, Render Format, and Priority. If the task Manage all subscriptions is part of your role assignment, these additional options are available: Cc, Bcc, and Reply-To.

Choose Report Server File Share to deliver a report file to a shared folder on the network.

Choose Null Delivery to load preload the cache. This is a special-purpose delivery extension intended for report server administrators.

For more information about how to specify these options in SQL Server Management Studio, see How to: Subscribe to a Report (Management Studio).
