Creating Server Groups

You can create server groups within SQL Server Management Studio and place your servers within them. Server groups provide a convenient way to organize a large number of servers into manageable groups. You can provide a server group name and description, to allow you to easily find servers that may need to have cryptic server names for business reasons. For example, a server named TSAKK32440 can be placed in the Sales group and named Northwest Sales.
