Database::Revoke Method (DatabasePermissionSet^, array<String^>^)

 

Revokes a previously granted set of permissions from a list of grantees on the database.

Namespace:   Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Smo
Assembly:  Microsoft.SqlServer.Smo (in Microsoft.SqlServer.Smo.dll)

)

Parameters

permission
Type: Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Smo::DatabasePermissionSet^

A DatabasePermissionSet object value that specifies the set of permissions.

granteeNames
Type: array<System::String^>^

A String array that specifies a list of grantees to be revoked the set of permissions.

The example shows how to use the Revoke method with server permissions. The method is the same for database permissions.
