Remote Desktop Connection Broker performance counters

The following performance brokers are available for the Remote Desktop Connection Broker:

Connection Broker performance counters

Perf counter	Description
Total Connection	The total number of connections handled by the Connection Brokers since the service started.
Successful Connections	The total number of successful connections since the service started.
Failed Connections	The total number of failed connections since the service started.
Pending connections	The total number of redirected connections pending completion from the Remote Desktop Session Host in the farm.

Database performance counters

Perf counter	Description
Active contexts	The total number of simultaneous requests that are currently being processed by the Connection Broker database.
Waiting contexts	The total number of pending requests to be dispatched to the Connection Broker database.
Database execution time	The average time (in milliseconds) taken to complete the stored procedures execution. Averaged at 5 second intervals.
Database wait time	The average wait time (in milliseconds) for pending requests to be dispatched to the connection broker database. Averaged at 5 second intervals.
Successful stored procedure calls	The total number of successful stored procedure calls completed since the service started.
Failed stored procedure calls	The total number of failed stored procedure calls since the service started.

Redirector performance counters

Redirector is a Remote Desktop Session Host server with redirection enabled.

Perf counter	Description
RPC context	The number of active RPC connections from the Redirector to the Connection Broker.
Threads waiting for RPC context	The total number of threads waiting to acquire RPC connection at the Redirector.
Context acquisition wait time	The average wait time (in milliseconds) for each thread to acquire RPC connection at the Redirector. Averaged at 5 second intervals.
Total connection time	The average time (in milliseconds) for the Connection Broker to complete an incoming RDP connection. Averaged at 5 second intervals.
