Sets the content delivery network (CDN) policies from the tenant level.

Set-SPOTenantCdnPolicy -CdnType <Public | Private> -PolicyType <IncludeFileExtensions | ExcludeRestrictedSiteClassifications | ExcludeIfNoScriptDisabled> -PolicyValue <String>

Set-SPOTenantCdnPolicy -CdnType Public -PolicyType IncludeFileExtensions -PolicyValue "CSS,EOT,GIF,ICO,JPEG,JPG,JS,MAP,PNG,SVG,TTF,WOFF,BMP"

This example sets a CDN to a public type with a policy value of listed extensions.

Set-SPOTenantCdnPolicy -CdnType Public -PolicyType ExcludeRestrictedSiteClassifications -PolicyValue "Confidential,Restricted"

This example sets a CDN to a public type with a policy value of valid site classifications.

CdnType

Required

Microsoft.Online.SharePoint.TenantAdministration.SPOTenantCdnType

Specifies the CDN type. The valid values are: public or private.

PolicyType

Required

Microsoft.Online.SharePoint.TenantAdministration.SPOTenantCdnPolicyType

Specifies the policy type. The valid values are:

  • IncludeFileExtensions- Specifies when file types are allowed. There is a default set provided, this parameter allows you to change the set of allowed file types.

  • ExcludeRestrictedSiteClassifications- Specifies a comma separated list of string (site classifications) that you want to exclude (opt-out) of the wild card origins. This uses the SiteClassification property on the Site. If the property on the Site matches one of the values specified in ExcludeRestrictedSiteClassifications then it will not be rewritten to a CDN URL.

  • ExcludeIfNoScriptDisabled- Lets you opt-out of sites that have disabled NoScript. At this time, this parameter is not enabled and will not take effect.

PolicyValue

Required

Specifies the policy value.

For IncludeFileExtensions and ExcludeRestrictedSiteClassifications it is a comma separated list of strings. (either file extensions (.jpg, .png, .bmp) or site classifications (LBI, MBI, HBI).
