Download a report
This article applies to Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (on-premises) version 9.1 using the legacy web client. If you’re using Unified Interface, your apps work the same as Unified Interface for model-driven Power Apps. For the Power Apps version of this article, see: Work with reports
To edit a default report, you can download the report from Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (on-premises) to a computer that is set up with the report development environment, and then make the necessary changes.
- Go to Reports.
- In the list of reports, select the report you want to download.
- On the command bar, select select Edit.
- On the Actions menu, select Download Report.
The RDL file contains the fetchXML that the report is based on. - Open the report once the download is complete.
