Change a Server's Registration (SQL Server Management Studio)

This topic describes how to change a server's registration in SQL Server by using SQL Server Management Studio. You can change the connection information for a registered server at any time.
To change a server's registration
In Registered Servers, right-click a server, and then click Properties.
In the Edit Server Registration Properties dialog box, modify the server, login information, or connection properties, and then click Save.
