Rename a Collection-Level Group

You can choose to rename a group to better reflect its purpose. To rename a group, you must have read/write permission to the group you are renaming. You cannot rename the default collection-level groups, such as Project Collection Administrators.

Required Permissions

To perform this procedure, you must be a member of the Project Collection Administrators group or your Edit Collection-Level Information permission must be set to Allow. For more information about permissions, see Team Foundation Server Permissions.
