Log on to Remote Web Access

When you log on to Remote Web Access from a local or remote computer, you can access resources on your Windows Home Server 2011 server and your home network.

To log on to Remote Web Access from a local computer

  1. Open a Web browser, type https://<YourServerName>/remote in the address bar, and then click ENTER.

    Note

    Make sure that you include the ā€œsā€ in https.

  2. On the Remote Web Access log in page, type your user name and password in the text boxes, and then click the arrow.

To log on to Remote Web Access from a remote computer

  1. Open a Web browser, type https://<YourDomainName>/remote in the address bar, and then click ENTER.

    Note

    Make sure that you include the ā€œsā€ in https.

  2. On the Remote Web Access log in page, type your user name and password in the text boxes, and then click the arrow.
