Windows Azure: One Year After General Availability

One year ago today the Windows Azure platform became generally available.  In that time we have seen the addition of new features such as Full IIS, VMRole and Windows Azure Connect.  We have also seen Windows Azure adopted in 41 customers by customers such as T-Mobile USA and Xerox.

I thought today I would take the opportunity today to not only share with you the customer stories announced in our press release, but to also direct you to some valuable resources that will help you as IT Professionals understand the Windows Azure platform.

Finally if you want the definitive deep technical training on Windows Azure, you can head over to MSDN and pickup the Windows Azure Platform Training Kit.  Now this is HEAVILY focused on the developer aspects of Windows Azure, however there is no better training on Windows Azure than what you will find here.
