Managing Windows 10 updates

The process for keeping Windows 10 up to date involves deploying a feature update—like Windows 10, version 1703—at an appropriate time after its release.

With the release of Windows 10, version 1703 (which is now the Current Branch), you have:

• More control over configuring when devices receive feature updates and quality updates in Windows Update for Business. (You can also continue to manage updates using Windows Server Update Services, System Center Configuration Manager, or other tools.)
• The ability to monitor the installation progress of both quality and feature updates with Windows Analytics Update Compliance.
• Express update support for Configuration Manager, in addition to current Express support for Windows Update, Windows Update for Business, and WSUS.
