About the Registry Reference

The Registry Reference describes registry content that is useful to administrators and support personnel. It is not a complete listing of all registry contents. The reference documents many registry entries that you can only change by editing the registry, and also documents many entries that should be changed by using standard user interfaces. The reference also describes entries that you can view, but that you should not change for any reason.
