Removing a Managed Service Account from a Computer

This topic explains how to use the Active Directory module for Windows PowerShell to remove a managed service account from a computer.

Example

The following example demonstrates how to remove the managed service account EXCH-SRV1 from the computer Fabrikam-SRV1. You must run the command on the local computer:

Remove-ADComputerServiceAccount -Identity Fabrikam-SRV1 -ServiceAccount EXCH-SRV1
