Managing DNS Clients

Although much attention is paid to the deployment and configuration of Domain Name System (DNS) servers, the management of DNS clients is just as important to the successful deployment of a DNS infrastructure. Even optimally deployed DNS servers provide no benefit if clients are not properly configured to use the services of the DNS servers.

In addition to performing basic client configuration operations, managing DNS clients can involve dealing with the client resolver cache and taking steps to enhance the security of DNS clients.
