How to: Customize Account Type Mappings for an Analysis Services Database

You can customize account type mappings for a Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services (SSAS) database by using the following procedure.

Procedure

To customize an account type mapping

  1. Open the Analysis Services project or connect directly to the Analysis Services database.

  2. In Solution Explorer, right-click the Analysis Services project and click Edit Database.

  3. In the Account Type Mapping box, select an account type in the Name drop down list box.

  4. In the Alias text box, type an alias for this account type.

  5. In the Aggregation Function drop down list box, change the default Aggregation Function for this account type.
