Change user access for shared printer

Note

You must be a network administrator to complete this procedure.

To change user access for a shared printer

  1. Open the Windows SBS Console.

  2. On the navigation bar, click Network, and then click Devices.

  3. Click the printer for which you want to change the user access, and then in the tasks list, click Printer properties.

  4. Click the Security tab.

  5. In Group or user names, click the group or users for whom you want to change printer access.

  6. In Permissions for <User or Group Name>, click Allow or Deny for the entries that you want to change, and then click Apply.

  7. When you are done changing user access, click OK to exit the Printer properties dialog box.
