AD RMS Logging Service

The Active Directory Rights Management Service (AD RMS) logging service runs on each server in an AD RMS cluster and sends logging information to the logging database. This information is used by AD RMS to generate reports from within the Active Directory Rights Management Services console.

Active Directory Rights Management Services (AD RMS) uses Message Queuing on each server in the AD RMS cluster to send information to the logging database. This information is used to compile reports and assess how your AD RMS installation is performing.

AD RMS Logging service configuration

The Active Directory Rights Management Services (AD RMS) logging service is installed as a Windows service and is used to send the logging information from the message queue on each AD RMS server in the cluster to the logging database.
