Edit a task definition

Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2

To edit a task definition

  1. Open Authorization Manager.

  2. In the console tree, double-click the task definition that you want to edit. The task definition can be at the application or scope level.

    Application level

    Where?

    • Authorization Manager/Authorization store/Application/Definitions/Task Definitions/Task definition

    Scope level

    Where?

    • Authorization Manager/Authorization store/Application/Scope/Definitions/Task Definitions/Task definition
  3. In the Definition Properties dialog box, modify the settings that you want to change.

  4. Click the Definition tab, and then select any tasks, operations, and authorization rules that you want to include.

Notes

  • To open Authorization Manager, click Start, click Run, and then type: azman.msc

  • To perform this procedure, you need to use an authorization store that contains an application, and the application must contain a scope. For more information, see Related Topics.
