Operation name: Getosearchsetting

Displays the current values of the Enterprise search settings in Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.

The getosearchsetting operation was first introduced in the April Cumulative Update.

stsadm -o getosearchsetting

-ssp <SSP name>

-setting <setting name>

Parameter name	Value	Required?	Description
ssp	A valid Shared Services Provider (SSP) name, such as "SharedServices1"	Yes	Specifies the name of the SSP that is associated with the search setting.
setting	"Schema:HitHighlight_Contains_Clause"	Yes	Specifies whether query terms that are used in a CONTAINS clause of the SQL syntax query are hit highlighted in the search results..

To display a specific value of the search settings, type the following syntax:

stsadm -o getosearchsetting –ssp SharedServices1 -setting "Setting:Schema:HitHighlight_Contains_Clause"
