The routing group for Exchange server %1 was not determined in routing tables with timestamp %2. Recipients will not be routed to this server.

Explanation

This Error event indicates that the routing group membership for the specified Microsoft Exchange server could not be determined based on the information in the specified routing table. Messages will not be routed to the specified server.

User Action

To resolve this error, do one or more of the following:

  • Verify the routing group configuration and make sure that the specified server is a member of a valid routing group. All Exchange Server 2010 servers automatically belong to Exchange Routing Group (DWBGZMFD01QNBJR). Exchange 2010 and Exchange Server 2003 servers cannot be located in the same routing group. If your configuration is correct, this error may be caused by Active Directory replication latency.
  • Take no action. Messages will automatically be rerouted when the routing configuration updates.
  • If you have been granted the correct permissions, you can force Active Directory replication to immediately occur.
  • Verify that the Exchange server that logged this event can communicate with one or more Active Directory servers available in the organization.
  • Review other related Error and Warning events in the Application log. These related events may help you find the root cause of this error.
  • If the recommended steps do not resolve this error, contact Microsoft Customer Support Services. For more information about how to contact support, visit the Microsoft Help and Support Web site.
