LogFilePath Property

The LogFilePath property specifies the full operating system path and file name for a bulk-copy log file.

  • object
An expression that evaluates to an object in the Applies To list

  • value
A string that names an operating system file

Data Type

SQL Distributed Management Objects (SQL-DMO) strings are always returned as OLE BSTR objects. A C/C++ application obtains a reference to the string. The application must release the reference using SysFreeString.

For SQL-DMO, a bulk-copy log file contains statistics describing the number of rows copied and the processing time. It may also contain other messages, unrelated to bulk copy, received from Microsoft SQL Server during the bulk copy.
